Philippine Airlines (PR, Manila Ninoy Aquino International) has announced the suspension of its Kalibo to Taipei Taoyuan flights "until July 3". Last week, Zest Air (Manila Ninoy Aquino International) stated it too had dropped the route following a recent deterioration in diplomatic ties between Taiwan and the Philippines sparked by the death of a Taiwanese fisherman at the hands of the Filipino Coast Guard.
