KalStar Aviation (Berau) has tentatively taken delivery of its first aircraft, an ATR72-600, PK-KSA (c/n 1080) fresh from the ATR - Avions de Transport Régional (EVX, Toulouse Blagnac) factory. As part of an agreement signed with with the Air Lease Corporation in December 2012, the Indonesian carrier will take delivery of a second ATR72-600 in Q3 of this year. Kalstar also operates three ATR42-300s and a single B737-500 on its network that includes both domestic services in Indonesia and international routes in Southeast Asia.
