Tajik Air (7J, Dushanbe) will take delivery of its first ex-Aerosvit Airlines (Kyiv Boryspil) B737-400, msn 25736, this month on lease from the International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC). The aircraft, to be registered EY-753, will be used to replace two B737-500s that were recently returned to Lithuania's AviaAM Leasing. The Central Asian carrier currently operates a mixture of Western, Russian and Chinese metal - a B737-300, two B757-200s, two Tu-154Ms, various An-24s and An-26s and an Yunshuji Y-7 (currently grounded) - on flights throughout Tajikistan and the CIS.
