Sol Líneas Aéreas (Rosario Islas Malvinas) along with Aerolíneas Argentinas (AR, Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery) and GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes (G3, São Paulo Congonhas) have seen a disruption to their Rosario Islas Malvinas operations following an announcement by the Argentine airports authority (Organismo Regulador del Sistema Nacional de Aeropuertos - ORSNA) that the airport's sole runway, 02/20, has been closed for refurbishment with effect from September 10 to November 24. According to a NOTAM issued by the Argentine authorities, the airfield is still open to helicopter traffic. Regular flights are expected to resume on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 18h00L.
