Vladivostok Air (Vladivostok) has officially wound up its operations following the recent return of its two A320-200s, VP-BEQ (cn 422) & VP-BFY (730), to their lessor. It is to be recalled that both Vladivostok Air and SAT Airlines (Russian Federation) (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk) form the crux of Aurora (HZ, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk), the new Russian Far East subsidiary of Aeroflot (SU, Moscow Sheremetyevo). Founded as Khakasia Airlines (Abakan) in 1993, Vladivostok Air celebrated its 20th, and last, birthday on January 20, 2014.
