Falcon Aviation Services (FVS, Abu Dhabi Bateen) has signed a firm purchase agreement with Bombardier Aerospace (BBA, Montréal Trudeau) for two DHC-8-400 NextGen turboprop aircraft. Based on the list price of the Q400 NextGen turboprop, the order is valued at approximately USD61million. Based out of Abu Dhabi Bateen, Falcon Aviation Services operates a fleet of E190 and E135 corporate jets for use on VIP charter flights. It also operates a fleet of helicopters serving the offshore oil and gas industry. The company also offers search and rescue, aircraft management, MRO as well as consulting operations.
