VI Airlink (VIL, Tortola) has been certified to operate large aircraft under the guidance of Air Safety Support International (ASSI). ASSI is a subsidiary of the United Kingdom's Civil Aviation Authority whose primary objective is to help provide a more cohesive system of civil aviation safety regulation in the British Overseas Territories.

As the second Overseas Carrier in the region to achieve this certification after interCaribbean Airways (JY, Providenciales), the carrier intends to use its Beech 1900C, VP-LVI (cn UC-92), on its regional Caribbean scheduled and charter flights.

VI Airlink also operates a Beech (twin turboprop) King Air and a Cessna (twin turboprop) 402.
