Bombardier Aerospace (BBA, Montréal Trudeau) announced at the Farnborough International Airshow 2014 that an African airline and existing Bombardier customer, which wishes to remain unidentified at this time, has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to acquire five C-Series jets.
According to the Canadian manufacturer, the order is valued at approximately USD365million.
Including this LOI, Bombardier has booked orders and commitments for 500 CSeries aircraft, which include firm orders for 203 CSeries airliners.
