Ryanair (FR, Dublin International) will pull out of Malmö on November 5 when it operates its last flights to London Stansted and Málaga. The news comes after the Irish LCC announced it would set up a base at Copenhagen Kastrup with effect from March 26, 2015. Situated on the southern tip of Sweden, Malmö airport is just 47 kilometres from Copenhagen Kastrup.

Despite the withdrawal, Ryanair will continue its other Swedish operations which include its Stockholm Skavsta base as well as services to Gothenburg City, Skellefteå, Stockholm Västerås, and Växjö.
