Jetstar Japan (GK, Tokyo Narita) will make its international début on February 28, 2015 with flights from its Osaka Kansai hub to Hong Kong International. The route is slated to operate 3x weekly initially on-board one of the carrier's twenty A320-200s.

The budget carrier's Japanese network includes flights between Tokyo Narita, Fukuoka, Kagoshima, Kumamoto, Matsuyama, Nagoya Chubu, Oita, Okinawa Naha, Osaka Kansai, Sapporo Chitose, and Takamatsu.

Jetstar Japan is a joint venture between major shareholders Qantas Group and JAL - Japan Airlines as well as Mitsubishi Corporation and Century Tokyo Leasing Corporation.
