Air Caraibes (TX, Pointe à Pitre) parent, Groupe Dubrueil, has been confirmed to be in talks with German leisure firm, TUI International, concerning the proposed acquisition of the latter's Corsair (1990) (Paris Orly) unit. In a media release, TUI said talks were close to being finalized with an agreement expected to be reached within the coming weeks.

On February 19, Corsair management will present Groupe Dubreuil's proposal to Corsair's trade unions following which a press conference is scheduled for Friday, February 20 with attendees to include Jean-Paul Dubreuil, the CEO of Groupe Dubreuil and of Air Caraïbes, Marc Rochet, the president of Air Caraïbes, and Pascal de Izaguirre, the president of TUI France and the managing director of Corsair International.
