Air Europa (UX, Palma de Mallorca) has taken delivery of B787-8 - EC-MIG (msn 36412) - following a positioning flight from Charleston International to Madrid Barajas on Tuesday, March 15.

The aircraft, on dry-lease from SMBC Aviation Capital, is the first of its type to be added to the Spanish operator's AOC with a further six due for delivery from Boeing (BOE, Washington National).

Air Europa began B787 operations early last year with the wet-lease of B787-8 SP-LRF (msn 35942) from LOT Polish Airlines (LO, Warsaw Chopin).
