KLM Cityhopper (WA, Amsterdam Schiphol) has taken delivery of its first E175 following the arrival of PH-EXG (cn 17000546) in the Netherlands on Sunday, March 20. Skyliner Aviation reports the aircraft was ferried from São José dos Campos U.E. Stumpf International in Brazil to Amsterdam Schiphol via Recife, Sal Amilcar Cabral International, and Lisbon.
The aircraft is scheduled to make its commercial debut on March 27 with flights from Amsterdam to Stavanger in Norway. Subsequent destinations will include Brussels National, Alesund, Oslo Torp, Turin Caselle, and Manchester.

"The EMB-175 will bring the enhanced comfort to which passengers are already accustomed in KLM’s EMB-190 aircraft. The KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL, Amsterdam Schiphol) subsidiary has sixteen additional EMB-175s on order from Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos U.E. Stumpf International) with options for fifteen more airframes. cityhopper plans to use the twinjets to replace its outgoing fleet of eighteen Fokker 70s whose retirement it hopes to complete by 2018.
