American Airlines (AA, Dallas/Fort Worth) has announced it will terminate scheduled passenger flights to Bullhead City with effect from February 14, 2018.

The multiple-daily shuttle service from Phoenix Sky Harbor is currently flown for American Airlines by SkyWest Airlines under the American Eagle brand. It is the western Arizonan town's only scheduled flight.

Airline spokeswoman Nichelle Tait told the News Herald earlier this week that the CRJ700s used on the route had failed to reach the 75% load factors needed to render the service viable.
