Aer Arann (Dublin International) has filed for examinership on August 26 and will continue to operate its own services and Aer Lingus (EI/Dublin) franchise services for the time being in a similar fashion to several US carriers that have operated under better known Chapter 11. It has already made some changes to its own network earlier this year: Donegal-Glasgow Intl: 4x weekly ATR 42-300 service has started on March 28 (replacing route to Prestwick) Kerry-Manchester: 4x weekly ATR 42-300 service has resumed on May 20 Waterford-Lorient: weekly seasonal ATR 72-200 service has started on May 29 Aer Arann has however given up its routes from Cork to Belfast City and Dublin on August 31.
