Wizz Air (W6, Budapest) will move its base in Warsaw from Warsaw Chopin to Warsaw Modlin on July 18 when the new terminal at Modlin, a former military base being converted into a commercial airport, opens for operations. Wizz has four A320-200s based in Warsaw. In other news, it will also be the only scheduled airline serving Debrecen when it introduces a three times weekly A320-200 service to the airport from London Luton. Ryanair (FR, Dublin International) will also launch several new routes from Modlin and is planning to make it a base at a later stage.
