Korongo Airlines (Lubumbashi) is now finally expecting to start operations later this year with a B737-300 and two BAe 146-200s from parent Brussels Airlines (SN, Brussels National). It is expected to mainly operate domestic services initially within the DRC while also serving as a feeder to Brussels Airlines' long-haul flights from Kinshasa N'Djili. Brussels Airlines holds a 35.7% stake in the carrier with the remainder being held by Congolese investment group George Forrest International and other local investors.
