LOT Polish Airlines (LO, Warsaw Chopin) has reached a compensation agreement with Boeing (BOE, Washington National) over costs incurred during the grounding of all B787-8s earlier this year. The Polish government, LOT's primary shareholder, has expressed satisfaction with the figures agreed. Citing Treasury Minister Wlodzimierz Karpinski, the Rzeczpospolita newspaper says terms of the agreement cannot be disclosed because of a confidentiality clause though Mr Karpinski did state in June that the figure sought would be more than PLN100million (USD33million).
