JetBlue Airways (B6, New York JFK) and Southwest Airlines (WN, Dallas Love Field) have objected to a request by Republic Airlines (Indianapolis International) to transfer its Washington National to Madison, WI and Omaha Eppley services from Frontier Airlines (F9, Denver International) to Delta Air Lines (DL, Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson). According to social media reports, Republic plans to operate a 2x daily Washington National to Omaha and a once daily flight to Madison Truax Dane County Regional on behalf of Delta effective March 1. Following its recent acquisition from Republic by Indigo Partners LLC, Frontier says it now plans to terminate those services currently operated with Republic E190s. Frontier also serves Denver International and Orlando International from both cities.
