Air Lituanica (Vilnius) has increased its statutory capital to LTL11.276million (USD4.46million). According to a press release, the Lithuanian postal service provider, Baltic Post UAB, invested LTL86'000 into the carrier thereby becoming its latest direct shareholder. In the same vein, majority shareholder, Air Lituanica Club, plans to invest an additional additional LTL660'000 thereby bringing its total investment in the airline to LTL4.1million. Air Lituanica says it is continuously on the look-out for new investors willing to help the airline in its ambitious expansion plans.
