American Airlines (AA, Dallas/Fort Worth) has indeed begun crossfleeting measures with partner, US Airways (Phoenix Sky Harbor), following news that US Airways Express-partner, Mesa Airlines (YV, Phoenix Sky Harbor), will begin operating on some of American's Los Angeles International routes effective August 19.
According to Jans Aviation, Phase One of the CRJ900 services will involve the following cities: Albuquerque International, Denver International, Fayetteville Regional, Houston Intercontinental, Oklahoma City Will Rogers World, Phoenix Sky Harbor, Reno/Tahoe, San Francisco, and San José, US. Thereafter, services to Tucson International will be added at a later date.
The new flights will depart from the American Eagle Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport.
