MEA - Middle East Airlines (ME, Beirut) has firmed up one of its two A330-200 options Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) order numbers have revealed. The options are part of an order for four A330s and four A321-200s placed with the Europeans in 2006.

The Lebanese carrier currently operates four of the type with delivery slots for the two options slated for 2017.

MEA currently mainly uses its A330-200s on flights from Beirut to Dubai International, Istanbul Atatürk, Jeddah International, Larnaca, London Heathrow, Paris CDG, Riyadh as well as for its African network including Abidjan, Accra, Kano and Lagos, the longest routes in its network.
