Emirates (EK, Dubai International) has retained a B777-200(ER) in service despite earlier reports it would phase out the type from scheduled service from October 30 onwards.

ch-aviation research indicates A6-EMK (msn 29324) is currently being used on Dubai International-Peshawar, Pakistan rotations given the latter's inability to sustain B777-300ER operations. Schedule data at hand indicates the service is set to continue through ot year end at the very least.

As recently reported by ch-aviation, Emirates has formally withdrawn its A330-200 and A340-300 fleets from commercial service.
