KD Air (Qualicum) has changed hands, former owners, Lars and Diana Banks have disclosed. In a statement issued via social media, the husband and wife team confirmed the change in ownership was made effective as of May 19. They did not disclose who had bought the company.
KD Air offers charter services throughout British Columbia and Alberta as well as daily scheduled flights to and from Vancouver International, Qualicum, Gillies Bay, Tofino, Powell River, and Port Alberni. It operates a fleet of Piper (twin piston) PA-31-350 Chieftains, PA-31-310 Navajos, and Cessna (single piston) 172s.
