Servant Air (Fairbanks International) has applied to the US Department of Transportation for the authorisation to resume scheduled services following the ownership changes in the last few months.

The carrier intends to operate a 7x weekly return Kodiak-Ouzinkie in Alaska, using a single five-seat Piper (single piston) PA-32 aircraft.

Servant Air is now fully owned by Eoghan Joyce, who is also the carrier's Chairman and CEO. Joyce purchased the airline from Wes Osowski, the previous owner, in January 2018. Osowski, in turn, re-acquired the airline from Dynamic Aviation in October 2017 after the failure of the carrier's US East Coast services. Previously, Dynamic Aviation bought Servant Air from Osowski in 2015.

According to the DOT filing, Servant Air owns the aircraft and all required infrastructure and is ready to commence operations as soon as it receives a clearance to do so.

The 12-nautical miles route from Kodiak to Ouzinkie is currently operated 12x weekly by Island Air Service, the ch-aviation capacity module shows.
