Okay Airways (BK, Tianjin) has confirmed the delivery of its first B737-8 after B-1485 (msn 60704) was handed over on Sunday, July 1. The privately-owned Chinese carrier has orders with Boeing (BOE, Washington National) for the MAX Family's 8, 9, and 10 variants.

According to ch-aviation analysis of schedule data, Okay Airways intends to deploy B-1485 into service from July 4 onwards serving each of Fuzhou, Hangzhou, Guilin, and Zhuhai (via Ningbo) from its Tianjin primary hub.

Okay Airways was founded in 2005 and currently operates a fleet of twenty-two B737-800s, five B737-900(ER)s, and one B737-300(F). From bases in Tianjin, Xi'an Xianyang, Changsha Huanghua, Yulin Yuyang, and Nanning, it serves 52 cities and towns in China, Thailand, the Philippines, Japan, and South Korea. It also has five B787-9s due from Boeing which will be deployed to its Beijing New Airport hub for longhaul operations.
