TAROM (RO, Bucharest Henri Coanda) has issued a Request For Proposals (RFP) for the dry-lease of up to thirteen (13) regional jets.

According to tender documents released by the state-owned Romanian carrier, the aircraft must seat between 70 and 120 passengers in a two-class configuration.

Eligible aircraft must be capable of flying sectors of at least 1,400 nautical miles with an MTOW of up 62 tonnes. Aircraft age will depend on market availability.

The duration of the dry-leases is negotiable.

Tarom currently operates a fleet of four A318-100s, seven ATR42-500s, and two ATR72-500s for its short-haul domestic and regional European services.
