Planet Nine Private Air (PVA, Van Nuys) has secured a Part 135 operating certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and has added a maiden Falcon 7X which will be deployed on ultra-long-haul charters by the company.

In a statement, the carrier has added that by year-end, it plans to operate four Falcon 7X business jets, configured for 11-16 passengers or for up to six passengers in an overnight configuration. The carrier will provide Wi-Fi connectivity onboard, complimentary in the United States.

Planet Nine intends to grow its fleet through acquisitions of second-hand business jets without incurring any debt. The carrier's management includes CFO BIll Wulf who previously worked for 20 years at one of the industry-leading companies, NetJets Aviation (EJA, Columbus John Glenn, OH).

Planet Nine Private Air in the US is a subsidiary of UK-registered eponymous start-up Planet Nine Private Air (United Kingdom).
