AeroLink Uganda (A8, Entebbe) is launching flights from Entebbe to Mbarara, which serves the Lake Mburo National Park in Uganda, according to a press release issued by the national park. No other airline currently offers regular flights to the airstrip.

The hour-long flights will replace a four to five-hour road journey for passengers and joins the airline's extensive domestic network primarily serving the country's national parks and safari market.

Starting on January 1, 2020, the Cessna (single turboprop) Caravan-operated route will be flown on a daily basis. Flights are scheduled to leave the capital city at 1015L and will arrive in the west Ugandan city at 1100L. The aircraft will then depart Mbarara at 1245L and lands in Entebbe at 1330L. According to the schedule posted on Aerolink's website, the timings may vary depending on aircraft routing, flights are only available on request and will not be operated in April, May and November.

Aerolink Uganda was founded in 2012 and is a subsidiary of AirKenya (P2, Nairobi Wilson).
