Ariana Afghan Airlines (FG, Kabul) has issued a Request For Proposals (RFP) for the purchase of six aircraft namely two A330-200s, two B767-300(ER)s, and two Dash 8-300s.
Tender documents seen by ch-aviation indicate that the relevant aircraft should be no older than 20 years of age, must have completed a recent C Check such that its next is not due within the next two years. All three landing gears must have five years or 50% remaining before their next overhaul.
Ariana will, in turn, pay the aircraft off in four equal instalments payable within ten days of an invoice being presented.
The deadline for the submission of bids is 0900L (0430Z) on Wednesday, February 26.
