Ryanair (FR, Dublin International) has so far failed to reach a new agreement for its base at Edinburgh with airport operator BAA that would replace the existing agreement set to expire in October. As part of a statement blaming BAA for too high charges at the airport, Ryanair has announced that it would cancel its routes from Edinburgh to Bratislava, Bremen Hans Koschnick, Frankfurt Hahn, Fuerteventura, Gothenburg City, Kaunas International, Łódź and Poznan Lawica for at least the IATA winter timetable period.
