Lufthansa (LH, Frankfurt International) will move its daily winter only seasonal A340-300 service between Frankfurt and Cape Town International to Munich from the end of October given the difficulties of operating late night departures from Frankfurt. Since the new night flight ban has been put in place there Lufthansa has been regularly forced to cancel and severely delay these flights to the next morning in cases where flights could not depart on time before midnight.
