The Lufthansa Group flagship carrier has halved the number of flight cancellations this year and improved the ratio of on-time departures by around 10 points to 74%. It posted a EUR131 million euro (USD152 million) operating profit for the first nine months of 2025, although the fourth quarter is usually less lucrative due to seasonal effects.
