LAN Airlines (Santiago de Chile) has taken delivery of its first B787-8 CC-BBA (MSN 38471) on August 31 as the fourth operator of the type after ANA - All Nippon Airways (NH, Tokyo Haneda), JAL - Japan Airlines (JL, Tokyo Haneda) and Ethiopian Airlines (ET, Addis Ababa International). As previously reported, it first plans to operate the aircraft on regional routes from Santiago de Chile to Buenos Aires Ministro Pistarini and Lima International.
