Precision Air (PW, Dar es Salaam) has taken delivery of its first ATR 42-600 5H-PWH (c/n 1001) currently being prepared for its ferry flight to Tanzania at Toulouse Blagnac. Precision Air will be the first operator of the new aircraft type and has four additional ATR 42-600s and one ATR 72-600 on order. The Tanzanian carrier partially owned by Kenya Airways (KQ, Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta) currently operates three B737-300s, five ATR 72-500s, three ATR 42-500s and two ATR 42-320s.
