S.O.S. Air (Istanbul Atatürk) has added a first Hawker 800XPi(2), ch-aviation research reveals.

The 18.9-year-old aircraft, TC-NIL (msn 258779), was first active on April 10, 2025, conducting a series of test flights around Istanbul Atatürk and Canakkale. It has since remained active on domestic flights within Türkiye.

Previously operated by Volare Aviation (Guernsey) as 2-NAPA, the jet flew for the last time under that company's 'VLZ' code on January 12, 2025, from Chester Hawarden to Istanbul Atatürk.

S.O.S. Air's fleet is exclusively composed of Hawker Beechcraft aircraft. The newly inducted Hawker 800XPi(2) joins two Hawker 400XPs, one of which has been parked at Istanbul Atatürk since April 2024. The Turkish operator specialises in air ambulance services.

This was the last active Hawker Beechcraft on Volare Aviation's fleet. Another Hawker 800XP, parked at Oxford Kidlington since September 2024, is marked as sold on the company's website.

Volare Aviation's current charter fleet comprises two Challenger 604s, a Challenger 650, a Global 5000, a Falcon 8X, and three AW109s helicopters. The firm also owns a B737-700(BBJ), a Challenger 601-3A, a Challenger 850, and two additional AW109s.
