Bombardier Business Aircraft (Montréal Trudeau) has secured European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) type certification for the Global 8000. The approval follows the aircraft's entry into service in December under management of Chartright Air (HRT, Toronto Pearson), after Bombardier obtained Transport Canada type certification in November and United States Federal Aviation Administration - FAA approval the following month.
