Bombardier Business Aircraft (Montréal Trudeau) has secured United States Federal Aviation Administration type certification for the Global 8000 on December 19. The approval follows the entry into service of the first Global 8000 in December under management by Chartright Air (HRT, Toronto Pearson), after Bombardier obtained Transport Canada type certification in November. European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certification remains pending.
