PAL Express (2P, Manila Ninoy Aquino International) will operate its first long-haul route from Manila Ninoy Aquino International to Dubai International on November 1, 2013. The daily flight will operate using an A330-300 leased from parent Philippine Airlines (PR, Manila Ninoy Aquino International) in an All-Economy Class configuration. PAL Express will compete with Emirates (EK, Dubai International) on the route along with Filipino low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific Air (5J, Manila Ninoy Aquino International) that is launching a very similar service on October 7.
