United Airlines (UA, Chicago O'Hare) will take delivery of its first E175s from Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos U.E. Stumpf International) in May this year. The twinjets will be operated by SkyWest Airlines (OO, St. George Municipal) under the United Express brand with their first flights to be out of Chicago O'Hare to Washington National on May 17 and Boston on May 19. The aircraft, which will be configured with 12 First, 16 Economy Plus and 48 Economy seats, are part of an order for thirty placed in April 2013. United currently already has thirty E120s, thirty-eight E170s, nine E135s and 281 E145s being operated on its behalf by various United Express carriers.
