Amerijet International (M6, Miami International) has announced plans to develop a hub in Reno/Tahoe to compliment its other proposed hub, Columbus Rickenbacher, OH. Effective July 7, Amerijet will begin daily operations between its new hubs providing long-haul air freight service to eleven cities.

"This service connects Seattle Tacoma International, San Francisco, Los Angeles International, Phoenix Sky Harbor and Reno on the west coast with Columbus, Chicago O'Hare, Detroit Metropolitan, Philadelphia International, New York Newark and Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson on the east coast with 1-2 day service," Amerijet's Senior V.P. Business Development, Pamela Rollins, said. "This new network will also connect to our Miami International Hub providing our customers with a faster and cost effective way to seamlessly move their freight between our domestic and international routes."

The carrier's fleet of B767-200(F)s will be used exclusively on the flights.

Amerijet operates five B727-200(F)s and three B767-200(F)s with land, sea and air connections to over 600 points in the Americas, Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
