Phoenix Airways (Basseterre) CEO Neville Gumbs says his airline is looking to evolve into a full scheduled carrier by the end of next year. Founded in 2013, the Kittitian carrier currently operates charter flights throughout the Caribbean and to the United States employing a subscription-based business model.

According to Gumbs, Phoenix offers seven levels of membership - Beginners, Lite, Elite, Plus, Silver, Gold and Platinum - all of which allow passengers to travel to various destinations, multiple times a year, for a fixed rate.

Clients are given the option of becoming shareholders by way of purchasing any of the timeshare packages, he added.
