Thai AirAsia X (XJ, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi) is set to make its Middle Eastern debut with the launch of a 3x weekly direct service to Tehran Imam Khomeini, Iran from Bangkok Don Mueang beginning June 22.

The service will compliment AirAsia X (D7, Kuala Lumpur International) and its 3x weekly Kuala Lumpur International-Tehran Imam Khomeini which launches June 21.

Thai AirAsia X operates six A330-300s on regular budget flights from its Bangkok Don Mueang hub to Osaka Kansai, Seoul Incheon, Shanghai Pudong, Shenyang Taoxian International, and Tokyo Narita.
