UPS Airlines (5X, Louisville International) has ordered eight new B767-300Fs freighters from Boeing, scheduled to start delivering in 2025.
The freight forwarder will also add a single converted B767-300ER(BCF) in late 2023.
"The additional B767s will help us continue to deliver what matters to UPS customers around the world. This is a very versatile aircraft that we operate across every region of the globe. With these aircraft, our fleet will continue to be among the most modern in our industry, meeting our customers' needs while improving our efficiency, sustainability and reliability," Executive Vice President and President US Nando Cesarone said.
The ch-aviation fleets module shows UPS currently operates a fleet of 290 in-house freighters, including seventy-two B767-300Fs, four B767-300(ERBCF)s, and four B767-300ER(BDSF)s. It has a further nineteen B767-300Fs on firm order from the manufacturer placed in late 2021, excluding the newly contracted aircraft. It is the smaller of the two major operators of the production B767-300Fs in the world, alongside FedEx Express (FX, Memphis International), which operates 117 and has a further 33 on firm order.
