Air China (CA, Beijing Capital) has agreed with Boeing (BOE, Washington National) to place an order for twenty additional B737-800s, two more B747-8s, one more B777-300ERs as well as eight B777F aircraft for its subsidiary Air China Cargo (CA, Beijing Capital). The plan for the order has been made public in a filing with the Hong Kong stock exchange on March 1. As part of the agreement to be signed with Boeing, Air China will be able to convert four B737-800 orders to one additional B777-300(ER) if desired at a later stage. Boeing will acquired Air China Cargo's seven of its nine converted B747-400F freighters as part of the transaction with these aircraft being replaced by the B777-Fs. Air China Cargo also has two newer B747-400(F) aircraft on lease from Guggenheim Aviation Partners.
