Canada Jetlines (AU, Toronto Pearson) has signed a term-sheet for the lease of two A320-200s. The Canadian ULCC start-up said in a disclosure that it is aiming to conclude a definitive lease agreement before the end of the current quarter. Once done, it will be able to provide new guidance on its projected start-up date and aircraft delivery schedule.
Jetlines has previously Jetlines had previously intended to lease in B737-800 equipment but was forced to abandon those plans citing a constrained leasing market.
