Fly All Ways Airlines (8W, Paramaribo International) has signed a six-month charter contract with Canada Jetlines (AU, Toronto Pearson) to provide weekly 5th freedom flights between Toronto Pearson and Georgetown Cheddi Jagan, Guyana, starting in 3Q23, subject to Guyanese government approval, the airlines announced.

"There is substantial demand for the Toronto/Georgetown market, and we believe FlyAllways and the Canadian tour operator they have partnered with will be successful with the introduction of this route," Canada Jetlines President and Chief Executive Officer Eddy Doyle President said in a statement. "In addition to our regular schedule flying, we have experienced strong demand for charter and ACMI/wet-lease flying, and the flight hours contemplated in this contract will keep one of our aircraft fully utilised."

The flights will be operated with an A320-200, of which Jetlines has two, according to ch-aviation fleets data. Canada Jetlines operates scheduled air service and charters to Canadian and international destinations.

Fly All Ways Airlines already operates between Georgetown, Guyana and Paramaribo International (Suriname), Havana International (Cuba), and Santo Domingo Las Américas (Dominican Republic) using two Fokker 70s, the ch-aviation schedules module reveals.
