United Airlines (UA, Chicago O'Hare) has announced it ordered four B777-300(ER)s and twenty-four B737 MAX aircraft during the month of December 2018. The disclosure was made in United Continental Holdings's 4Q18 SEC filing.
United currently operates a fleet of eighteen B777-300(ER)s alongside nine B737-9s.
Prior to these two new orders, it had orders with Boeing (BOE, Washington National) for 100 B737-10s and twenty-six B737-9s.
