Angeles City Clark International airport reopened on April 24, two days after a 6.1-magnitude earthquake partially damaged the airport's terminal.

The airport's largest user, Philippine Airlines (PR, Manila Ninoy Aquino International), resumed flights to Clark on April 25.

During the closure, airlines predominantly arranged ground transportation to Manila Ninoy Aquino International and rebooked their passengers onto flights departing from the capital airport.

According to the ch-aviation capacity module, Clark sees 374 weekly departures, of which 166 are operated by the Filipino flag carrier. Cebu Pacific Air (5J, Manila Ninoy Aquino International) and Azur Air (ZF, Krasnoyarsk Yemelyanovo) operate 63 and 43 weekly scheduled departures, respectively. The airport is also an important cargo hub used, among others, by UPS Airlines (5X, Louisville International) and FedEx Express (FX, Memphis International).
