Solairus Aviation (TWY, Novato) has taken delivery of its first Gulfstream G600 business twinjet, the manufacturer announced in a press release. The aircraft will be the world's first G600 available for charter operations.

"This aircraft immediately caught our attention when it was announced in October 2014, and it has lived up to its billing,” said Solairus Aviation Chief Executive Dan Drohan.

Solairus Aviation said it will base the first G600 out of San Francisco. The private charter specialist manages over 170 aircraft, including a wide range of Gulfstream Aerospace, Cessna Aircraft Company, Bombardier Business Aircraft, Dassault Aviation, and Pilatus Aircraft units.

The first ultra-long-range business jet was delivered in August 2019 to an undisclosed customer for private operations.
